As winter approaches with chill biting winds every year, at high altitude plateau of Asia temperates drop below minus 40 degree celsius. To survive this serve wind chill animals like Goats, mountain antelope and Chyangra grow beneath their coarse outer coat a thick down of superfine fibers which enables them to survive plummeting temperatures. This undercoat of superfine luxurious fibers from chyangra goat and mountain goat is combed every year during summer to collect the precious Cashmere Pashmina fibers. A good quality Cashmere Pashmina fiber should be between 14.5-15.5 micron and with fiber length of 34mm.
